1. Purpose
This Consumer Agreement applies when an individual or household uses All Dem Chefz™ to search for, communicate with, request, select, or hire a Chef.
2. Consumer Responsibilities
Consumers agree to provide accurate information concerning date, time, location, guest count, budget, kitchen access, venue restrictions, dietary needs, food allergies, required services, equipment, parking and access, and changes to the event.
Material omissions may affect pricing, safety, performance, cancellation rights, or refund eligibility.
3. Selecting a Chef
Consumers are responsible for reviewing the Chef profile, ChefScore™, ratings, verification badges, menu, pricing, service terms, cancellation terms, dietary capabilities, and insurance where relevant.
All Dem Chefz™ may recommend Chefz but does not make the final selection for the consumer.
4. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
Consumers must disclose known severe allergies and material dietary restrictions before accepting an offer. Consumers should ask the Chef about preparation methods, discuss cross-contact risks, confirm ingredients, identify affected guests, and seek medical advice when appropriate.
A dietary label such as "gluten-free," "nut-free," "vegan," "halal," or "kosher-style" does not automatically mean a service is certified or free from cross-contact.
5. Venue and Property Access
Consumers must provide safe and lawful access to the service location and disclose stairs, elevators, security requirements, parking limitations, pets, kitchen defects, venue rules, hazardous conditions, and equipment limitations.
Consumers must not require Chefz to work in unsafe or unlawful conditions.
6. Guest Count and Changes
Final guest counts must be provided by the deadline in the Chef Offer™. Increases may result in additional charges, menu changes, staffing changes, or inability to accommodate the increase. Reductions may not reduce the price after applicable purchasing, preparation, or cancellation deadlines.
7. Payments
Consumers authorize charges disclosed during booking. Failure to complete required payments may result in delayed confirmation, suspension of service, cancellation, or collection activity where lawful.
Consumers may not use chargebacks as a substitute for the dispute process when a charge was authorized.
8. Consumer Conduct
Consumers and guests must not harass or threaten Chefz, discriminate, request illegal activity, pressure Chefz to work unsafely, demand undisclosed services without compensation, solicit off-platform transactions to avoid fees, retaliate through reviews, interfere with safe food preparation, or become abusive or dangerously intoxicated.
Serious conduct may result in service termination without refund.
9. Customer-Created Content
Consumers are responsible for reviews, images, messages, and other content they submit. Content must be truthful, relevant, and respectful.
10. Service Concerns
Consumers should report concerns as soon as reasonably possible. For quality or scope concerns, consumers should preserve messages, photographs, receipts, menus, timelines, and other relevant evidence.
Foodborne illness concerns should be reported promptly to appropriate health authorities and medical professionals where necessary.
11. Platform Role
Chefz are independent providers. All Dem Chefz™ may assist with disputes but does not guarantee the Chef's food, conduct, or event outcome.
12. Cancellations and Refunds
The Cancellation and Refund Policy and accepted Chef Offer™ control cancellation and refund eligibility.
13. Memberships
Paid consumer membership provides access to stated features. Membership does not guarantee availability, pricing, acceptance, a particular Chef, a minimum number of offers, or a successful event.
14. Acceptance
By submitting or accepting a booking, the consumer agrees to these Terms, the accepted Chef Offer™, applicable payment terms, the Cancellation and Refund Policy, the Review and Ranking Policy, and Food Safety Requirements.
